ShareWord IGNITE events create a safe and encouraging place to both learn and practice how to share the reason for the hope that you have in Jesus with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15).
The host will converse with you about "grid evangelism" - a term used to describe a relational model of sharing Jesus with others that engages you in outreach conversations with people that you rub shoulders with in your day to day life. It's not a silver bullet method that has a perfect 3 step formula to ensure conversions (this isn't the goal anyways) - rather, it's an open conversation that provides you with robust and practical tools to help you be an ambassador for Christ 24/7.
We realize that not everyone is a gifted evangelist (so don't worry about being forced to be that), but we do believe that every Christian is called to be a witness to the Good News. This doesn't mean you have to be preaching to strangers on the sidewalk, but it does mean that you should be taking steps towards being able to share with confidence who Jesus is and what He has done for you - and we believe this event would be a great step for you to take!
